The Dance Complex in Cambridge will host its fall showcase, Roots & Routes, on Saturday and Sunday. The two-evening event will feature performances ranging from traditional dance forms to contemporary styles, accompanied by live music and visual projections, as per The Dance Complex website.
Artists including Olivia Moon, Akili Jamal Haynes, and Sean Bjerke will perform, highlighting the history and diversity of The Dance Complex. The program also concludes Dancing Through Time, a Mass Humanities-funded project documenting the Complex’s history. Saturday’s performance will include a post-show dance party.
The event will take place at The Dance Complex, 536 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, Cambridge, according to Cambridge Day.
