The city's Golden Neighbors program is teaming up with Hospice of the Valley to offer an educational morning on how to optimize time with your physician—filling it hopes, with not only prescriptions but also prescience.
The upcoming event is not just about talk, but also about sustenance, offering a light breakfast to attendees on Nov. 13 at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, described by the City of Chandler's news release as a chance to mingle and munch from 9:30–11 a.m., interested parties can secure their spot by calling the Neighborhood Programs Office or visiting the RSVP link at Golden Neighbors, the complexity of today's healthcare landscape can leave many bewildered, these sessions aim to clear the fog and ensure seniors can advocate for their health effectively.
Again, opening its arms later in the month, the Golden Neighbors program invites seniors for the Thank-Full event—a gesture of shared bounty where household and personal hygiene items will be up for grabs, at no cost to them, at the Chandler City Hall Parking Garage on Nov. 20 from 9:30–11 a.m.
