
The Valley's music buffs and families seeking a melodious night out can mark their calendars, as the esteemed Sonoran Sunset Series is making a comeback at Veterans Oasis Park. According to a press release from the City of Chandler, the series is set to reintroduce locals to a mix of tunes ranging from rock to indie amid the picturesque Arizona desert.
Starting from October 16, every third Thursday of the month until March 2026, the park will transform into an open-air auditorium from 6–7:30 p.m. This year's lineup features a variety of local artists sure to please various palates. According to Chandler Nature Center, the expected performers are Outside the Line – Oct. 16, StarAlliance – Nov. 20, What’s Left – Dec. 18, Pick & Holler – Jan. 15, 2026, Chrome Rhino – Feb. 19, 2026, and Traveler – March 19, 2026.
"There's something truly magical about experiencing live music in the heart of the Sonoran Desert," Chandler recreation coordinator and event organizer Theo Anglin was quoted by the Chandler Nature Center, according to a press release from the City of Chandler.
For those planning to attend, Veterans Oasis Park is situated at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road in Chandler, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Audience members are advised to come with blankets and lawn chairs, and they're encouraged to pack snacks and drinks in small coolers. However, it’s worth noting that bringing alcoholic beverages is a no-go.
