Looking ahead, the National Weather Service sees calmer skies with a sunny Monday forecast with a high near 69 degrees and light west northwest winds. This serene weather is set to continue through the week, with sunny skies and highs fluctuating around the 70-degree mark, providing a stretch of stability following today's roughness.
Tonight, the hazard shifts to scattered showers, mainly anticipated before the witching hour of 8 pm, followed by gradual clearing. The National Weather Service, in its Hazardous Weather Outlook, warns that "A few of these storms could become strong to severe, especially along and north of I-40," and notes wind damage as the primary concern. No hazardous weather, however, is expected from Monday through Saturday, marking a brief respite after today's tumult.
