Thomas Stanley Butts, 42, is currently wanted for failing to show up in court on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, marijuana possession, and committing a traffic violation by driving on a suspended license as a habitual offender. The Facebook post, informs residents that Butts's last known address is on Gentlebreeze Road in Middleburg, but he may have since moved to the Duval County area.
In the social media call-to-action, the Clay County Sheriff's Office encouraged anyone with information on Butts' whereabouts to step forward and help to swiftly bring him to justice. The post reads, "If you know where Butts is, or have any information, call us at (904) 264-6512." It also provides alternatives for those who wish to remain anonymous, such as submitting tips through the Sheriff's Office website, their SaferWatch app, or by contacting First Coast Crime Stoppers. By dialing **TIPS, concerned citizens can offer up information they might have without having to reveal their identity.
