The Clayton County Police Department, in collaboration with Faith & Blue, is opening its doors to the community for an Open House event. Scheduled for Monday, October 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., this gathering aims to forge closer ties between law enforcement and residents. CCPD Headquarters at 7911 N. McDonough St., Jonesboro, GA 30236, will serve as the venue.
Guests at the Open House can anticipate an array of activities, including live music and the presence of food trucks, both set to create a backdrop of festive ambiance. Beyond the entertainment, visitors will be treated to displays from CCPD's Specialized Units. A spotlight will be shone on resources provided by Sister Empowerment Inc., as well as contributions from the Clayton County Task Force Against Violence. This community initiative, as noted on the Clayton County government website, is designed to build relationships and celebrate community spirit.
