The Dearborn City Beautiful Commission recognized 51 homes for their festive autumn displays in its third annual Fall Aglow program, with up to three honorees per district and seven honorable mentions. Notable displays include homes at 7548 Ternes, 6425 Ternes, and 331 S Military, according to the City of Dearborn.
Winners will receive a window decal and an invitation to an awards ceremony hosted by Mayor Abdullah Hammoud early next year. The program showcases residents’ creativity, transforming neighborhoods into visually striking autumn landscapes, as reported by the City of Dearborn.
The City Beautiful Commission is recognizing residents for their seasonal decorations as part of ongoing efforts to promote community pride and environmental stewardship. Commission Chair Rene Ziaja said, "The City Beautiful Commission appreciates all residents who add to the welcoming spirit of our community by installing clever Halloween displays to their lawns, or by adding appealing seasonal decorations and plants." The commission, whose members are appointed by Mayor Abdullah Hammoud, also partners with Dearborn Public Schools to promote sustainable practices, as stated by the City of Dearborn.
