Several roads in the vicinity of Columbia Woods and Toney Drive are closing for just over a month due to essential sewer upgrades, as per the latest advisory from DeKalb County officials. Starting from September 29 through November 3, the areas to be affected by the closures include Toney Drive, Columbia Woods Drive, Glendale Drive, Saratoga Drive, and Thrasher Circle, so plan your routes accordingly to avoid unexpected delays and the irksome rush of detours.
According to a notice published on DeKalb County's official news portal, detour signs will be up and about, steering traffic around the construction-laden zones; however, these dates remain tentative and may change depending on weather conditions.
Construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays, bringing increased noise and heavier traffic during these hours.
