The family successfully evacuated before emergency services arrived to battle a roof engulfed in flames. Though the fire was extinguished by 3:23 am and no injuries surfaced, the event left the family without a home.
Another pressing call took firefighters to a smell of smoke in an attic at 3:00 am, this time in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the Town of Argyle. The intimate blaze was quickly brought under control, with no casualties reported.
