
Two men were injured, one critically, after a shooting on Fairburn Road SW in Atlanta that reportedly stemmed from a dispute over a stolen firearm. According to the Atlanta Police Department release, the incident occurred around 10:35 p.m. on Sunday at 3390 Fairburn Rd SW.
Officers responding to reports of gunfire found two men with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital by Grady EMS, where one was listed in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
Preliminary information suggests the shooting followed an argument about the ownership of a firearm believed to have been stolen. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
