
The Dudley Police Department reported a bank robbery on Thursday afternoon that led to the arrest of a 17-year-old male suspect. Police said officers were dispatched to Webster First Federal Credit Union on Airport Road at about 3:37 p.m. following the incident, as reported by the Dudley Police Department.
Shortly after the robbery was reported, police received a description of the suspect and vehicle. Officers located the juvenile in Dudley and took the suspect into custody. A search of a residence led to the recovery of stolen money, a mask, clothing, and other evidence. The teenager has been charged with unarmed robbery and three counts of assault and will be arraigned at Dudley Juvenile District Court, as stated by the Dudley Police Department.
According to the Dudley Police Department on their Facebook page, "The investigation was led by Officer Tyler Smith with the assistance of multiple Dudley Police officers," and "Additional support was provided by the Webster Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police." The staff of Webster First Federal Credit Union cooperated with the investigation. The suspect has been taken into custody and will appear in court.
