Last evening, the El Cerrito Police Department made a move to apprehend and arrest four individuals implicated in the theft of a copious amount of Halloween decorations, which largely consisted of skeletons from the porches and yards of local residences. The arrests followed reports of stolen holiday paraphernalia, as per the El Cerrito Police Department.
The suspects were processed at the El Cerrito Police Department and subsequently transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. The quartet had been placed under citizens' arrest before official police intervention.
The El Cerrito Police Department seeks to reunite the stolen decorations with their rightful owners. A call to action was issued, eliciting community members to contact the Department's Dispatch center at 510-237-3233 should they find themselves missing their spooky adornments. The police have also provided photographs of the recovered items to aid in the identification process, allowing people to confirm any belongings that were lifted in the night visually.
