
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office welcomed a new batch of basic detention officers, Class 25-05 "Desert Echo," who graduated yesterday morning. Sheriff Oscar Ugarte publicly offered his congratulations through a social media post. Sheriff Ugarte celebrated their achievement: "Congratulations to our Basic Detention Officer Class 25-05, 'Desert Echo,' who graduated yesterday morning! We’re proud of each graduate for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to serving our community."
The ceremony marked the culmination of rigorous training for the graduates, who are now set to join the law enforcement team dedicated to maintaining safety and order in the community; the Sheriff's office highlighted their pride in the graduates' accomplishment and their readiness to welcome the new officers to the fold, their preparation is not just limited to enforcing rules and maintaining secure facilities but also extends to building a trustworthy and professional image of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
