
El Paso has witnessed its 54th traffic fatality of the year following a motorcycle crash that took place on Thursday, October 23. The incident occurred on the 3700 block of John Hayes when a motorcyclist, identified as Randolph, lost control around a curve in the road, as per the El Paso Police Department. The El Paso Police Department responded to the scene around 3:22 pm, and the Special Traffic Investigations unit was called in to lead the inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The investigation at this stage hasn't pinpointed the cause of why Randolph veered off course, resulting in the accident. Transport to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries ensued, and sadly, on October 28, Randolph did not survive. This fatality marked a slight decrease from the previous year's count at this same time, which stood at 57, according to the El Paso Police Department.
