EquipmentShare has expanded its operations in Louisiana by opening a new branch in St. Tammany Parish, its ninth facility in the state. The ribbon-cutting event marked the start of a statewide expansion that will add 120 jobs and bring the company’s total Louisiana locations to 13. Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan B. Bourgeois recognized the project as a sign of continued business growth in the state, according to a report by the Louisiana Economic Development.
The new Core Solutions facility will support local economic development and workforce opportunities. EquipmentShare CEO Jabbok Schlacks stated that the company aims to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency in construction through its T3® platform, which will now be implemented across Louisiana.
The company’s growth includes Core, Advanced, and Tooling Solutions facilities, which serve different construction and technology needs. Russell Richardson, President and CEO of the St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation, said the investment will enhance job opportunities and strengthen the parish’s business environment.
EquipmentShare’s broader national plan involves expanding to more than 700 locations and includes a $187 million investment in Louisiana. The move is expected to increase the state’s construction capacity and support its position as a regional hub for technology and equipment services.
