October at the Euless Family Life Senior Center looks packed with events designed for engagement, leisure, and just plain fun. Among them is the Empowering Seniors EXPO, the much-anticipated Community Garage Sale, and the Halloween Dance primed to offer residents a lively autumn experience, according to an announcement from the City of Euless.
Seniors in Tarrant County can kick off the month by attending the Empowering Seniors EXPO on Thursday, October 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The EXPO is expected to be a one-stop shop event for seniors looking to connect with local vendors and learn about services tailored for them, with transportation provided for registered Senior Center members. As reported by the City of Euless, "Senior Center membership and registration are required."
Following the EXPO, the Community Garage Sale, scheduled for Saturday, October 11, from 8 a.m. to noon, opens up to all ages and presents an opportunity for locals to rent a booth or browse through a variety of goods in the Senior Center parking lot. Those interested in securing a booth spot for $15 must ensure they register.
Capping off the month is the Halloween Dance on Thursday, October 30, at 5 p.m. It's not just any dance—this event will showcase a live band, offer great food, and feature a costume contest for the competitively dressed, accessible for attendees 60 and up. The dance is ticketed with an admission price of $10 per person, and just like the other events, it does require a membership and prior registration.
