A Buick Regal crashed into a tractor pulling a hay wagon in Kimball Township last Saturday evening, killing one person and injuring several others. According to ClickOnDetroit, the crash occurred just before 7:30 p.m. on Smiths Creek Road near Burns Road.
A crash occurred in Kimball Township involving a tractor and a Buick Regal. The tractor, driven by a 79-year-old man without proper rear lighting or a slow-moving vehicle sign, hit the Buick. An 85-year-old woman on the hay wagon died at a hospital. The tractor driver is in critical condition. A 77-year-old woman was seriously injured, and three others aged 67, 62, and 54 had minor injuries, as reported by FOX 2 Detroit. The 44-year-old Buick driver was also treated for minor injuries.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Accident Investigation Team is investigating the crash. Responders treated all involved at the scene and then transported them to hospitals. The investigation is ongoing, as per MLive.
