The FBI has intensified their search for a Florida man accused of importing massive quantities of cocaine into South Florida. The suspect, identified as Rodolfo Mantilla, 44, is facing multiple federal drug charges, including conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, possession with an intent to distribute, and distribution of a controlled substance.
According to an article from Local 10 News, Mantilla is believed to have significant connections in South Florida, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas. He also goes by the alias “Rudy” and was born in Florida. FBI spokesman Jim Marshall stated, “Mantilla is charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances; possession with intent to distribute controlled substances; and distribution of a controlled substance."
In an effort to bring Mantilla to justice, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to his arrest and conviction. Individuals with knowledge of Mantilla's whereabouts are urged to reach out.
Details provided by the FBI emphasized the gravity of Mantilla's alleged actions, which involve the distribution of kilogram quantities of cocaine — a substance with the potential to devastate communities and fuel addiction crises. On their official X account, the FBI announced, "The #FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Rodolfo Mantilla, wanted for allegedly importing bulk kilogram quantities of cocaine into the United States, specifically South Florida."
