The Five Points Center for Active Adults is hosting a scrapbooking workshop on Wednesday, October 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. Open to adults 18 and older, the class offers a hands-on opportunity to combine creativity and memories, crafting personalized keepsakes, according to the city's website.
Participants will create one or two 12"x12" scrapbook pages while learning the basics, including arranging photos, writing captions, choosing supplies, and designing layouts. Attendees are encouraged to bring a theme—like a memorable birthday or family event—along with photocopies and memorabilia such as stickers, stamps, or tickets. The center will provide additional materials to help complete each memory book.
For $11, participants can turn their stored photos, whether on phones or tucked in shoeboxes, into a tangible keepsake. To join, crafters can register at raleighnc.gov.
