The city has taken the dog into the protective embrace of the City of Mankato Impound, located at 903 Mound Avenue, tucked within the bounds of Sibley Park. Concerned owners who believe this might be their missing pet can reach out to Public Safety. It's urgent to do so, given that the impound is the temporary guardian of the dog, who waits, perhaps, for its family to claim it back into their lives.
The City of Mankato's post extends a clear option for reclaiming the dog: "To claim: Please contact Public Safety at 911 and make arrangements for pick-up." They also encourage anyone with information that could help to reunite this dog with its owner to either notify the owner directly or contact Public Safety at the aforementioned number.
