Hawai‘i Island police are actively seeking the public's aid in nabbing a pair linked to a theft in Kailua-Kona back in August, according to recent reports. Specific whereabouts remain elusive; the duo in question became subjects of interest following an incident at a store located on the 75-5700 block of Ali‘i Drive, drawing attention due to the swiping of a necklace sporting a price tag of $2,199 according to the Hawaiʻi Police Department.

The supposed theft occurred on August 21 at approximately 5:16 p.m., with the Hawaiʻi Police Department reports and video evidence casting light on a male figure, allegedly in his 30s, marked by a light brown complexion, a muscular frame, standing at 6-foot-1, and weighing around 175 pounds. His distinguishing features include a mop of short black hair and a notably Australian accent, and when last seen, he wore a gray long-sleeve shirt paired with black pants, shielding eyes behind black sunglasses with circular lenses, the police have yet to arrest the suspects and they are urging anyone with information to step forward and assist in this investigation.

Accompanying the man during a previous visit to the establishment on August 18 was a woman whose description has been circulated as well: a Caucasian with a larger build, stretching to 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 170 pounds, her long blonde/brown locks possibly serving as a veil for numerous tattoos that decorate her abdomen, chest, and arms. Captured in a bikini top at the time, her identity alongside her counterpart remains a puzzle; one the police are determined to solve, as reported by the Hawaiʻi Police Department.
