
Two individuals were detained by Horizon City Police following a traffic stop that resulted in the discovery of a controlled substance. The official social media page of the Horizon City Police Department reported that on September 20, Joel Ramirez and Ricardo Bencomo Bueno, the vehicle's occupants, were apprehended after officers conducted the stop at around 8:23 p.m. on Eastlake Blvd., the department disclosed.
Ramirez is now facing charges for possession of a controlled substance PG1, weighing 1 to 4 grams. In an alarming decision, he was held without bond. Conversely, Bueno was granted a monetary bond fixed at $1,500 for the same offense. Following the incident, both suspects were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility, the arrest proceeding without escalation or incident.
