The Horizon City Police Department made an arrest last week for a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) offense, according to a social media post detailing the incident. The post reveals the arrest of Jesus Gallegos following a routine traffic stop on Monday night.
The traffic stop, which took place at the intersection of Darrington Road and Blair Drive, was initiated after officers observed Gallegos failing to correctly obey a stop sign. The encounter quickly escalated from a mere traffic violation to a more serious charge after officers made contact with Gallegos, according to the Horizon City Police Department. They reported observing signs consistent with intoxication.
