Huntersville is inviting residents to share their input on the future alignment of Verhoeff Drive. The town is revisiting plans first developed in 2002 and is conducting a new study to consider updated options. Three possible alignments are being reviewed — the original design and two new proposals, shown as red, orange, and purple lines on the study map.
According to the Town of Huntersville website, the public comment period began yesterday and will remain open until November 14. Feedback can be submitted through the Verhoeff Drive Alignment Study page on PublicInput.
A Public Information Meeting will be held on Thursday next week at Huntersville Town Hall, 101 Huntersville-Concord Road, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attendees can view study materials, ask questions, and provide comments.
