An unsettling incident occurred in northern Michigan earlier this week when a man, reportedly in an inebriated state, broke into a woman's home and vandalized her furniture with fecal matter. According to CBS News Detroit, the Roscommon County Sheriff's Office stated that a 33-year-old Denton Township woman woke up to find an intruder in her home around 7 a.m. last Saturday. The intruder had smeared feces on her furniture after defecating in a trash can.
Deputies and officers quickly responded after the woman confronted the pantless man, and he vacated the premises. Found wandering in the area, a 41-year-old Prudenville man fitting the description of the suspect was arrested by one of the deputies, who discovered that the woman, when she woke up, had been without pants. "He was placed under arrest and lodged at Roscommon County Jail," as reported by CBS News Detroit.
Further investigation by the officers revealed that the trespasser managed to gain entry by damaging a screen and entering through a window, and that he may have been inside the home for at least four hours. The authorities believe the suspect was highly intoxicated during the incident. The man's name has not been released to the public as he has not been arraigned, according to MLive.
