The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has made a second arrest in the April shooting death of Christopher Cam. The victim, Cam, age 33, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on Ernest Street near McDuff Avenue on the night of April 15. He was later pronounced dead, a homicide determined by the Medical Examiner's Office, Action News Jax reported.

Bradley Drew, 33, was apprehended while already in custody for an unrelated charge, JSO revealed. Drew's initial arrest occurred in May when he was charged with grand theft, details of which are listed on the JSO inmate portal. First Coast News noted that the arrest was a progression of ongoing investigations following the collection of evidence.

Prior to Drew's detention, in August, News4Jax reports that Brandon Engeloff, 32, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, as well as accessory after the fact and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in connection to the same crime. Engeloff was named a suspect after a detailed review of evidence by the Homicide and Crime Scene Units of JSO.

Despite Engeloff's arrest, detectives continued their investigation with the belief that he was not acting alone. The ongoing work of the Homicide and Crime Scene Units eventually led to Drew's implication. While still behind bars, detectives served Drew with the new charges pertaining to Cam's deadly shooting, finally culminating a process that spanned several months since the crime was committed.
