The Jefferson City Police Department has issued an update on their investigation into recent vandalism incidents. The department had been dealing with a series of property damages and turned to the public for assistance in identifying two male suspects caught on camera. In a social media post, they have now confirmed that these individuals have been identified, with thanks to the community's aid.
"Update: The individuals have been identified. Thank you," stated the effective post on the Jefferson City Police Department's Facebook page. Prior to this resolution, Detective Sergeant Keith Bunch had made a public request for help in identifying the suspects, despite the low quality of the image in question.
The department has not released further details regarding the vandalism or the circumstances leading up to the identification of the suspects. The initial request urged anyone with knowledge about the depicted individuals to come forward and promised confidentiality for tipsters. Contact information had been shared for anyone who could identify the suspect, with Detective Sergeant Keith Bunch being the point of contact. They could reach him either through a phone call at 865-471-7405 or via email at [email protected].
