In Jefferson County, Tennessee, a routine traffic stop yesterday became the impetus for a narcotics raid, culminating in the arrest of Vicki I. Lamb on multiple drug charges. According to a social media post by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Detectives from the Narcotics and Street Crimes Divisions apprehended Lamb after discovering that she had outstanding warrants for the sale and/or delivery of schedule 1 and 2 narcotics.
During the initial stop, Lamb informed the authorities that more drugs were present at her home, prompting detectives to secure a search warrant. The subsequent search of her residence revealed "seven small clear bags of a crystal substance, one medium sized bag with a crystal substance, and two larger containers that held a crystal substance that totaled approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine," as the office described on Facebook. Additionally, $1,940 in cash was seized at the residence where the drugs were located.
Following the discovery, the seized substances were believed to be methamphetamine, which led to further charges against Lamb, including the sale and/or delivery of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The details shared by the Sheriff's Office also noted that the total weight of the narcotics amounted to a significant quantity, indicating not merely personal use, but distribution. Currently, Lamb is being held at the Jefferson County Detention Center, her bond has been set at a substantial $30,000.
