Travelers in Lafayette Parish experienced major delays as the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced the immediate closure of I-10 eastbound due to a vehicle collision. According to Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, in addition to the interstate closure, several exits have been shut down, including the I-49 southbound exit to Baton Rouge (Exit 1A) and the I-10 eastbound exit to I-49 North (Exit 103B).
