Mayor Meghan F. George will kickoff the ceremony with opening remarks, followed by an invocation from David Stack of CWV Post 579. In the tradition of honoring service and sacrifice, the keynote address will be delivered by Retired Colonel Zoltan “Z” Krompecher, who brings with him a history of extensive military experience from the field artillery in Germany to Special Forces, and ultimately, advisory roles in the Pentagon and South Carolina National Guard. Notably, Colonel Krompecher is a decorated veteran with enlistment that dates back to 1985 and includes deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
