The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office recently took to social media to publicly honor their distinguished employees for going above and beyond in their line of duty. In a post that underscores the appreciation for their commitment, Warrants Clerk Tracy Green, and Correctional Officer Daria DeBerry stood out amongst their peers, both securing the title of Employee of the Quarter. The recognition, according to the Sheriff's Office Facebook page, was for their "dedication, professionalism, and their call to service."
The Bravo Shift Patrol and Charlie Shift Corrections were collectively hailed as Team of the Quarter. But it was the Delta Shift Patrol's efforts that seemed to truly resonate with the community, owing to their successful intervention earlier in the month, where they ensured "that two at-risk juveniles were removed from a dangerous situation," – a noteworthy accomplishment that was singled out for special recognition by the Sheriff's Office.
The announcement received a positive response, with many residents praising the sheriff’s office on social media. The sheriff also thanked team members for their work in improving Lauderdale County.
