A section of Lenoir Street in Missouri, from Grindstone Parkway to Lenoir Woods’ main entrance, will be closed starting on October 20. The closure is needed to connect the existing road to a new segment, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Missouri Department of Transportation said the work aims to create a smoother transition from Lenoir Street onto the new northbound U.S. Route 63 off-ramp. The closure is expected to last about a month, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
Drivers traveling through the area during the construction period should expect changes in traffic patterns. Work schedules may change depending on weather conditions. Missouri Department of Transportation stated, "MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones," noting that the temporary work is part of infrastructure improvement efforts.
