
A hunting outing took an unexpected turn when a 61-year-old man fell from a tree in Morrison County. The incident, as reported by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, occurred on October 3rd just north of Hillman, MN.
Little Falls resident Robert Hebler was engaged in archery hunting when he lost his footing and plummeted roughly 20 feet to the ground. The fall happened around 12:40 pm on 203rd Street in Leigh Township. Despite the accident, the specifics of Hebler's injuries remain undisclosed. He was quickly transported by Onamia Ambulance to Onamia Hospital following the incident.
Rescue efforts were a collaboration between multiple local emergency services. The Hillman Area Rescue Team, North Air Care, and Onamia Ambulance teams all played roles in responding to the emergency. The Sheriff’s Office has not yet released further details regarding the condition of Hebler after his fall.
