The calm of a Springtown neighborhood morning was broken last month by a home burglary, prompting an active investigation by the Livermore Police Department. The September 23 incident involved the theft of several expensive watches and raised concern over the community’s sense of security, the Livermore Police Department said in a social media post.
After an intense investigation, the collaboration between Livermore's Criminal Investigations Bureau, LPD Patrol, LPD Real Time Awareness Center, and Tracy Police Department yielded fruit, pinpointing 37-year-old Antonio Lopez of Tracy as the man behind the theft, leading to his arrest last Wednesday.
The apprehension took place in Manteca, with the Manteca Police assisting in bringing Lopez into custody. He was arrested on a Ramey arrest warrant specific to this case. The nature of his arrest warrant underscores the strong suspicion and gathered evidence, leading investigators to act without delay to apprehend Lopez.
