The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has relaunched its T4LA initiative—Transforming Transportation with Transparency and Teamwork—to improve operations and services for Louisiana residents. “Today we relaunch T4LA not just as part of the transformation, but as a renewed pledge to the people of Louisiana,” said DOTD Secretary Glenn Ledet, adding that “Our mission is to deliver infrastructure and services that are efficient, transparent, and worthy of public trust,” according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

As part of this effort, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will establish two new offices during the 2025 Regular Legislative Session: the Office of Transformation and the Office of Project Delivery. Deputy Secretary Julia Fisher-Cormier, who leads the Office of Transformation, said, “The relaunch is an opportunity to reintroduce ongoing efforts and present new goals that will all work toward modernizing DOTD. It’s time we pull back the curtain and clearly show Louisiana what we’re doing right and also what we know we can do better.”

Assistant Secretary Eric Dauphine, who leads the Office of Project Delivery, is overseeing efforts to make project development and delivery more efficient under the T4LA initiative. “Change is never easy, but these initiatives will prove to accomplish a better, faster work product. We’re engaging our peer states for best practices and efficiencies,” he said in a press release. The initiative aims to improve planning, construction, maintenance, and operations. Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has introduced tools like the Project Viewer for the public to track infrastructure projects, with updates available at www.T4LA.com.
