The search for 75-year-old Danny Dunham from Madisonville has ended, with state law enforcement confirming that he has been found safe. Dunham was reported missing from his home on Mossy Oak Circle around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, prompting the Louisiana State Police to issue a Silver Alert at the request of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The initial alert described Dunham as a white male with brown eyes and grey hair, about 5’7” tall and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, grey pants, and grey Puma shoes. Authorities noted that he may have had a medical condition affecting his ability to return home safely.
Dunham was believed to be traveling in a 2016 white Nissan Altima with Louisiana license plate 193AJT. The public was urged to contact the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office or call 911 with any information.
The Sheriff’s Office later confirmed that Dunham had been located and is safe. The Silver Alert has been canceled, and officials expressed appreciation to those who assisted in the search.
