
Authorities in Milford, Massachusetts, reported the arrest of a man sought on a motor vehicle homicide charge on Tuesday night. Robert Laspesa, 41, was apprehended following a focused investigation by the Milford Police Department. Officers took Laspesa into custody at his Main Street residence shortly after 10 p.m., without any complications arising during the arrest.
The charge stems from an incident in Arlington, Massachusetts, where Laspesa was wanted for Motor Vehicle Homicide - OUI Drugs. The Milford Police, in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, worked to rapidly locate and to apprehend the suspect, as indicated in the Milford Police Department's social media post. According to the department, this arrest is part of their ongoing efforts to address crime and maintain safety in their jurisdiction.
Milford's Chief of Police, Robert Tusino, underscored the department's dedication with a public statement. "Our department remains committed to keeping Milford safe by conducting in-depth investigations regarding crime inside and outside our community," said Tusino. "We are serve the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and no wanted individual will find sanctuary in Milford."
Laspesa was held without bail and swiftly transferred to the custody of the Arlington Police Department, where he was slated to be arraigned the next day.
