Cobb County police have made an arrest in the case, where on Monday evening, Roubins Francois was hit by a vehicle while he was crossing Terrell Mill Road, "outside a marked crosswalk," according to a report by FOX 5 Atlanta. The driver of a gray 2014 Ford Escape, who later fled the scene, has been identified as 28-year-old Kuntae Green, also from Marietta.
Authorities located Green at his residence and arrested him, slapping multiple charges including "felony hit-and-run, driving with a suspended license, and a center turn lane violation," states FOX 5 Atlanta; the collision happened at approximately 7:12 p.m. near the intersection of Terrell Mill Road and Bentley Road, resulting in life-threatening injuries to Francois who was later pronounced dead at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
