A Marietta community is reeling after a domestic dispute ended with the fatal shooting of a local man, and police are now on the hunt for the stepson accused of pulling the trigger. The altercation occurred yesterday evening at an apartment complex on Ridge Run. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the victim has been identified as 58-year-old Michael Jackson, who was found with multiple gunshot wounds following reports of a heated argument.
Marietta Police responded to the scene shortly before 6:30 p.m., only to discover Jackson grievously injured. He was rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The stepson, 26-year-old Fharron Banks, had fled in a black Nissan Rogue before authorities arrived and is now facing charges. "Investigators identified the stepson, 26-year-old Fharron Banks, as the other person involved in the dispute."
