
Early on October 21st, a storefront at 3194 Thomas Street became the latest victim in a string of burglaries afflicting local businesses. The targeted location, Citi Trends, known for offering value-priced urban fashion apparel, found its entrance shattered when thieves forced their way in. According to the Memphis Police Department, officers were dispatched following a burglary alarm at approximately 5:43 a.m., uncovering the aftermath of the intrusion upon their arrival.
The crime, recorded by the store’s security cameras, depicted two individuals orchestrating the heist. They are seen entering the breached premises, seizing an undisclosed amount of merchandise, and swiftly exiting. The public has been urged to contribute any knowledge concerning the event. "Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH (2274)," the Memphis Police implored in their report.
For the community at large, the immediate focus remains on catching those responsible for the Citi Trends burglary.
