Memphis Law Enforcement officials are calling on the community for aid in tracking down several suspects linked to a recent shooting that has left one individual fighting for their life. The incident unfolded on Sunday evening, when Memphis Police officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Spottswood Avenue after receiving reports of gun violence at about 9:07 p.m., as detailed on Memphis Police Department's official news release.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The critically injured man was immediately rushed to the hospital. The Memphis authorities, in their pursuit of justice, have not only determined Johnny Miller as the perpetrator but have also taken him into custody, where he faces charges of Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder X2, according to the same news release.
Nevertheless, the search continues for potential accomplices who remain at large. Descriptions have been released for an additional five suspects: all males with heights ranging from 5'8" to 6'2" and seen wearing various combinations of hoodies and pants in dark and light shades. The specifics of their appearances are scant, but the clothing descriptions have been noted, hopeful that citizens might recognize something, anything, that could aid the investigation.
Investigators urge anyone who might possess information concerning the case to step forward and make a call to Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH (2274), a plea circulating widely across local channels and social media.
