Around 4:21 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the complex, as highlighted by a report from Action News 5. Further reports concerning the shooting revealed that a man was injured after an argument with his girlfriend led to violence. The dispute, taking place within the confines of an apartment, escalated, leading to the destruction of the man’s phone and the girlfriend firing a weapon, striking him as he walked away, WREG News discloses. The suspect fled the scene and has not yet been apprehended. Investigating officers have extended their search for her in the wake of the altercation and shooting.
