Memphis residents are on alert after a business burglary took place last week at the Trustmark Centre located at 5350 Poplar Avenue. According to the Memphis Police Department's news release, the incident occurred last Thursday around 11:50 a.m., and was reported to the authorities that morning.
Police have disclosed that access to the premises was gained using an old key card shortly before 6 p.m. on the previous evening. Surveillance footage captured an unknown male suspect with a slim build, making his way through several office areas. He was seen wearing a dark colored cap, dark shirt, and jeans. The suspect's departure was also caught on camera as he left the building with a brown satchel, reportedly filled with property from the business.
While the exact contents and value of the stolen property have not been disclosed, the Memphis Police are actively seeking information.
