Ricky Hampton, better known as Memphis rapper Finesse2tymes, has found himself in legal hot water according to multiple reports. FOX13 Memphis states that Hampton was arrested in Harrison County, Texas, by the Department of Public Safety on a slew of drug charges. As per the reports, the charges include several counts of possession of a controlled substance, with specifics ranging from possessing less than a gram to quantities between one and four grams.
Adding to his list of charges, Hampton is also accused of possessing less than two ounces of marijuana and a "dangerous drug", a term in Texas law that encompasses prescription medications such as Xanax or Vicodin. Caught with having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, his troubles only seem to have deepened. The 32-year-old was released on Tuesday, jail records indicated, as reported by the same Texas department that arrested him, as per FOX13 Memphis.
In sync with these details, Hollywood Unlocked has covered the financial ramifications of Hampton's run-in with the law, revealing that his total bond surpasses $100,000. The majority of this amount has been listed as surety bonds, which implies that bail can be posted through a bondsman. Amidst these events, no commentary has yet emerged from either Finesse2tymes or his legal representatives.
Meanwhile, XXL reported that Finesse2tymes is facing eight charges in total. Those mentioned include four counts relating to controlled substances, marijuana possession under two ounces, holding a dangerous drug, and the introduction of a prohibited substance into a correctional facility.
