The Millington Police Department has issued a public alert after locating a lost dog. The dog was found on yesterday in the area of West Union Road and U.S. Highway 51, according to Millington Tennessee Police Department's Facebook post.
Anyone who believes the dog may be theirs is encouraged to contact the Millington Police Department at 901-872-3333 for more information. If the dog is not claimed within 24 to 48 hours, it will be transferred to the Shelby County Health Department and then to Memphis Animal Services for temporary care.
The department is asking for the public’s help in locating the dog’s owner by sharing the information.
