Milton’s Fire CARES program is offering free public wellness checks through December. The sessions are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Community Place next to City Hall and at Fire Station 44 in the Milton Public Safety Complex. Dates include Wednesday next week and November 5 at Community Place, and October 14 at Fire Station 44. Residents should note the new gate at Fire Station 44 when attending, according to the City of Milton’s official website.
The wellness checks, led by firefighter and medical professional Derek Hofmann, will provide screenings such as glucose level tests, blood pressure checks, and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
No appointments are required, but attendees may need to wait if others are ahead. More information is available on the Fire CARES webpage on the City of Milton’s website.
