Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has addressed one county office vacancy and made five appointments to state boards and commissions. According to the Governor’s office, the selections include Brandon Boulware of Kansas City for the Missouri Ethics Commission and Shannon Covington of Lake St. Louis for the Missouri Dental Board.
Boulware offers more than 20 years of legal experience and held significant clerical positions early in his career. His biography notes that he graduated from American University Washington College of Law and has participated on several boards, including the Committee for County Progress in Jackson County. Covington is an experienced dental hygienist, holding both an associate degree in dental hygiene and a diploma in dental assisting from Missouri College.
Also appointed is Julie Leicht of Webster Groves, who joins Boulware on the Missouri Ethics Commission. Leicht previously served as the Democratic deputy director for the St. Louis County Board of Elections and has extensive experience in state and local government. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
For the Missouri Dental Board, Governor Kehoe has appointed Dr. Calvin Mott of Rolla, a general dentist with memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Mott earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky.
In Laclede, Christy Techau-Dover assumes the role of Linn County Assessor, following her tenure as interim assessor and chief deputy assessor for the county. She holds an associate degree in human services from Columbia College. Additionally, Dr. Jennifer Tinnel of Kansas City has been reappointed to the Missouri Dental Board, where she continues to serve as president while practicing as an associate dentist at Platte Valley Dental Care.
