
The New Orleans Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect involved in a recent case of aggravated battery by cutting/stabbing in the French Quarter. The incident, which unfolded in the 500 block of Bourbon Street around 3:31 a.m. on October 17, left the area rattled and has prompted a call to the public for assistance.
Detectives are urging anyone with information regarding the crime or the suspect's identity to quickly come forward. The NOPD released a suspect image and is asking individuals to urgently reach out if they recognize the person in the picture. An appeal was published, stating that "around 3:31 a.m. on October 17, 2025 the pictured suspect committed an aggravated battery by cutting/stabbing in the 500 block of Bourbon Street and then fled," according to the NOPD News release.
