Norman has partnered with the Incremental Development Alliance (IncDev) to host a free lecture focused on small-scale development and community planning. The event, scheduled for November 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Standard, 315 E. Gray Street, will feature Eric Kronberg, an expert in zoning and urban design. His lecture will discuss strategies for creating walkable and livable neighborhoods through practical urban planning approaches.
According to the City of Norman’s website, the lecture is part of a broader effort to promote community engagement and sustainable local development. City officials, planners, neighborhood leaders, developers, and public policy advocates are encouraged to attend. While attendance is free, pre-registration is required.
IncDev plans to expand the initiative with future workshops and bootcamps aimed at applying small-scale development principles within communities. The event is supported by local sponsors, including The Standard, OEC Electric & Fiber, Johnson Commercial Group, First United Bank, and Johnson & Associates.
