The National Weather Service in Oklahoma City has issued a frost advisory for early morning today, with temperatures expected to drop to around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. These conditions could lead to frost formation that may damage or kill sensitive outdoor plants if not protected.
The National Weather Service Frost Advisory covers parts of central, east central, northern, southeast, and southern Oklahoma, including cities such as Perry, Meeker, Shawnee, Wewoka, Lamont, Stillwater, and Seminole. Residents are advised to cover or move tender plants indoors to reduce the risk of damage.
According to the National Weather Service, a warming trend is expected to follow the advisory, with sunny conditions and temperatures rising into the high 60s and mid-70s through the next week.
